Drug Dealer Charged With Murder After His Buyer Overdoses


Williamsburg police are charging a James City man with felony homicide on an allegation that he sold heroin to man who later died in an overdose.

Roy Edgar Morisette, 39, was arrested at relative’s home in Washington, N.C., and charged with distribution of heroin and felony homicide.

Felony homicide is a charge for accidental deaths that occur during the course of an investigation. Morisette was extradited to the Commonwealth of Virginia on Aug. 22.
